Hi, I'm Virginia!

I'm a software developer currently based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to entering the dev world, I worked as a statistical programmer in pharmaceutical clinical trials. I knew it was time to take things to the next level once I realized the incredible creative potential that is innate to web development.

I recently graduated from App Academy, an immersive full-stack software engineering bootcamp where I added Ruby, Javascript, React, and many others to my tool belt.

An interactive platform that allows users to play sudden-death multiplayer quiz games with their friends. Users can create their own quizzes, open game lobbies, and chat with one another in real time.

A full-stack clone of the visual discovery engine Pinterest that allows users to create and save Pins and boards, follow their friends, and browse for inspiration with an infinitely scrolling home feed.

Popcorn

A movie-theater themed, single-player game in which a player earns points and ascends levels by popping popcorn for a hungry kitty. It is inspired by a favorite childhood flash game of mine, Popcap Games' Rocket Mania.
